A very nice dry Bordeaux white wine at a good price. Good with fish, but also well on its own, eg. as an aperitif.

CHATEAU LESPARRE - White - Entre Deux Mers 2005 CHATEAU LESPARRE - White - Entre Deux Mers 2005 (Ref: WW344)

Colour: White.
Vine: 65% Sémillon, 25% Sauvignon, 10% Muscadelle.
Taste: A fresh and sharp aroma of pepper and lime flavours. A refreshing palate lightened by white fruit flavours and citrus scent. The after taste reveals hints of blackcurrant and ginger.
Wine-making process: At low temperature with selected yeasts. Fermentation in stainless steel vats for 6 months to complete the balance of the wine.
Serving Suggestion: Ideal with seafood, fish, cheese. Serve between 6 and 8°C.
Open before drinking: Serve between 6 and 8°C.
Alcohol content: 12%.
Content: 750ml.
Bottles per case: 6 (bottles can be green instead of blue as on picture).

Medals: Bronze Medal International Wine Challenge London 2002, Médaille d'Or Paris 2001.
Colour: White.
Vine: 45% Sémillon, 45% Sauvignon, 10% Muscadelle.
Taste: A fine golden colour with a green tinge. A hint of vanilla. A round delicate body of white fruit flavours and citrus fruits. A perfect balance of fruit and a wood palate. The after taste is typical of a very good Sauvignon.
Wine-making process: Pneumatic pressing of the last generation, maturing in new oak barrels for the alcohol and malolactic fermentation. Maturing with sediment for 9 months. Then bottling of the best batches.
Serving Suggestion: Seafood, fish, poultry, cheese. Between 6 and 8°C.
Laying down: 6 years.
Open before drinking: Serve between 6 and 8°C.
Alcohol content: 12.5%.

DOMAINE DE L'ENCHANTOIR - White - Saumur 2007 DOMAINE DE L'ENCHANTOIR - White - Saumur 2007 (Ref: WW352)

Colour: White.
Vine: 85% Chenin, 15% Chardonnay. Ground: calcareous, covered with gras.
Taste: The Saumur Blanc has a very nice yellow colour. It relieves flowery perfumes and notes of exotic fruits. A refreshing, harmonical balanced palate. It reveals a strong intense fruitiness.
Wine-making process: Pressing of the grapes by pneumatic presses after a light pelliculair maceration which gives the complexity of flavours in the wine cellars. The fermentation happens at low temperatures. The wine has matured 7 months before bottling.
Serving Suggestion: Chilled (8° to 10°C), as an aperitif and ideal with seafood, shell-fish, poultry, white meat, pasta and goat cheese.
Laying down: Drink young, gain by laying down 2-3 years.
Open before drinking: Ready to drink immediately.

Vine: Sémillion, Rolle.
Taste: A dry white with a structure combining strength, vivacity and fineness, with a complex bouquet of white flowers.
Wine-making process: Maceration at low temperature to privilege extraction of the aromas and volume without the bitterness.
Serving Suggestion: Excellent aperitif, ideal with seafood, white meats and cheese. To be drunk between 10 and 12° C..
Laying down: Aged on lees during four months before bottling. To be consumed during its youthful years to appreciate the freshness.
Open before drinking: 30 minutes.
Alcohol content: 13%.
Content: 750ml.
