Colour: Beautiful deep Red with mauve highlights.
Vine: 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. South-Eastern Pomerol: well-established sand over a ferruginous subsoil.
Taste: A finely wooden nose with fruit compote scents and a hint of forest floor. Elegant and supple on the palate.
Wine-making process: The grapes are picked by hand, followed by a traditional vinification process. Fermentation for 3 to 4 weeks depending on the year. Ageing and conditioning in oak barrels.
Serving Suggestion:Grilled meats, duck breast, roast veal, poultry, cheese.
Laying down: 15 years. Ready to drink now.
Open before drinking: 30 minutes.
Alcohol content: 12.5%.
